Will we see a reunion of Tim Tebow and Urban Meyer in Jacksonville this season? Well, there’s a chance, as Tebow worked out for the Jacksonville Jaguars recently, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The kicker is, he worked out as a tight end. The quarterback turned minor league baseball player is now making another turn, this time as a tight end.
How good are Tebow’s hands and route running skills? That’s a question we really have no basis to answer. He is of course a phenomenal athlete, but it’s hard to imagine him being an NFL caliber tight end at this point in his career. He turns 34-years old in August and couldn’t have been training as a tight end for all that long. This will likely end up just being one of the many footnotes in Tebow’s many footnoted career, but hey, crazier things have happened. But not too many.
