It would be a massive upset at this point for Urban Meyer and the Jaguars to not select former Clemson Tigers quarterback Trevor Lawrence to open Thursday night.

However, former Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Justin Fields is getting 25% of total bets to go along with 17% of the handle.

This isn’t much of a money-making bet, but we’re going with Lawrence here. It’s hard to even consider the possibilities of why Lawrence would not go No. 1. Barring a late-breaking off-the-field issue for Lawrence or an unknown health concern, the Jaguars will select him with the first overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Football fans have waited years for Lawrence to hear his name called to open the draft since he brought Clemson a national title as a true freshman. Lawrence bettors will not make much money on this bet, however, as a $100 wager would net just a $1 profit.
