Moneyline pick, best player prop for Brewers vs. Cubs on Sunday

We go over some of the best betting options for Sunday’s matchup between the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs.

The Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs head into Sunday with a rubber match in their three-game series to end the week. Manny Pina broke a 2-2 tie in the 7th inning with a two-run bomb that proved to be just enough to take a 4-3 win on Saturday. We get a quality pitching matchup with Brandon Woodruff taking on Jake Arrieta this afternoon. Let’s take a look a some lines on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Brewers vs. Cubs, 2:20 p.m. ET

Moneyline pick: Cubs +105

The Brewers are favored on the road because Woodruff is on the hill. He’s been lights out this season and two times it was against the Cubs. Woodruff has only allowed 1 ER and 4 hits over 13 IP against the Cubs this season. Yet, I’ll still back Chicago at home to close out the series. The Cubs are getting juice at home, which you don’t always see. Arrieta lost this duel a week and a half ago, but didn’t get any run support. If the Cubs can get to Woodruff and get to the bullpen a bit earlier, this game should be tight. In a coin toss situation, I’ll take the home team with the juice.

Player Prop: TBD
