Pick against the spread, best player prop for Sixers vs. Bucks on Saturday

We go over some of the best betting options for Saturday’s matchup between the Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks.

In the second game to tip-off on ESPN Saturday, the Philadelphia 76ers will wrap-up their two-game series with the Milwaukee Bucks at 3:30 p.m. ET. These two teams just played each other on Thursday night, with the Bucks winning 124-117.

The Sixers are looking to snap their three-game losing skid on Saturday afternoon. The team got back Tobias Harris, who missed the previous three games with a bone bruise, and Seth Curry, who did not play on Wednesday night due to a left hip flexor soreness. Harris scored 18 points and dished out six assists, while Curry had 11 points on 4-6 FG and 3-3 3pt.

The Bucks have won three out of their last five games and inching closer to potentially the top-seed in the Eastern Conference. Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 27 points and also added 16 rebounds and six assists in Thursday night’s win. The Bucks shot 50% from three-point range and 55.6% from the field. We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbook centered around the game here.

Sixers vs. Bucks, 3:30 p.m. ET, ESPN

Pick ATS: Sixers +7.5

The line for Saturday afternoon’s game is currently set at 7.5 points, with the Bucks listed as the favorite at home. After losing by seven points a couple of days ago, the Sixers will try to get revenge on the Bucks in their final regular season matchup. Philly got an okay outing from MVP candidate and All-star center Joel Embiid (24 points, 3 rebounds). But they did not do a great job of defending the three-point line as the Bucks shot 50%. Embiid along with Furkan Korkmaz are both listed as questionable with injuries. Speaking of injuries, the Sixers are still without Ben Simmons, who has missed the last three games with an illness.

Philadelphia is 0-4-1 against the spread in their last five games and 2-4 ATS in their last six games versus the Bucks. Additionally, the Sixers are 14-13-3 ATS away from the Wells Fargo Center this season. As for the Bucks, they are coming into today’s matinee with a clean bill of health. They will try to duplicate Thursday’s performance where they shot the basketball well from the perimeter. The Bucks blitzed the Sixers in the first quarter leading by much as much as 20 and took it from there.

Unlike the Sixers, who have struggled against the spread recently, Milwaukee is 4-2 in their last six games ATS but 1-4 ATS in their last five games against the Atlantic Division. They are also 14-15 ATS this season at home. If Embiid plays and the Sixers defend the three-point line better, they should have a chance to keep it close and cover.

Player Prop: Danny Green O9.5 points (+105)

The easy player prop play would be Khris Middleton over 5.5 rebounds (-107), which has been a really good bet for this season. However, we are going to go against the grain and take on Green’s player prop. This season, the three-point specialist is averaging 9.7 points per game, while shooting 42.2% from the field and 41.7% from the three. In the Sixers’ last five games, he has gone over 9.5 points three times. On Thursday night, Green only played 14 minutes and only took one shot (zero points). There won’t be many times during a game that he’ll only have one shot attempt.
