Pick against the spread, best player prop for Clippers vs. Trail Blazers on Tuesday

We go over some of the best betting options for Tuesday’s matchup between the LA Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers.

The Los Angeles Clippers head to Portland to take on the Trail Blazers on Tuesday night. We won’t be seeing at least one MVP candidate take the court. Damian Lillard (hamstring) has already been ruled out for Portland. Jusuf Nurkic (rest) is also sitting for the Blazers. The last time these two teams played, things did not go well for Portland and Dame was in the lineup. Will we see a repeat of that contest or can the Blazers pull off an upset? Let’s take a look at the lines on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Update: Kawhi Leonard (foot) has been ruled out vs. the Blazers. Try and jump on PG-13 props if you can before they are adjusted. Blazers spread looks a little bit better at home. Still think Clippers have plenty, plus Dame is still out.

Clippers vs. Trail Blazers, 10:00 p.m. ET, TNT

Pick ATS: Clippers -7 (-112)

Portland has gotten mixed results without Dame the past two games — a win over the Spurs and loss to the Hornets. The Clippers are a whole different animal and might be the hottest team in the NBA right now. The line has shrunk to 7 points in favor of the Clippers and the splits would suggest people feel the Blazers can hang in this game? I’m not buying it at all. A close-to-100 percent Clippers team right now can beat this Blazers squad by double digits, if not more. L.A. is 16-11-1 on the road ATS this season and fourth overall ATS.

Player Prop: Norman Powell O19.5 points (-113)

This line will scare off people if it keeps going up. People will see Powell going up against Kawhi and PG-13 and think it’s a bad spot. The Blazers have a ton of shots and usage up for grabs without Dame, most of which goes to CJ McCollum and Powell, who had hit the over on this line twice before Sunday’s loss. Powell is taking a ton of shots and chances are this game is high scoring (possibly competitive).
