We have an enormous 16 games on deck in MLB on Tuesday, there are endless opportunities for your prospective lineup in DraftKings baseball DFS. The main slate has 13 games starting at 6:30 p.m. ET. There are also two early games beginning at 4:10 p.m. ET between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Seattle Mariners.
Sometimes with a plus-matchup on the MLB game slate, we get an opportunity to slot multiple players from the same team into our DFS lineups. You can learn more about MLB DFS strategy, including team stacks, here.
Here, we’ll break down three of the best team stacks for the MLB slate on April 20th.
Orioles vs. Marlins, 6:40 p.m. ET
Adam Duvall ($4200)
Miguel Rojas ($4100)
Jazz Chisholm Jr. ($3900)
Jesus Aguilar ($3700)
Corey Dickerson ($3100)
In one of the first games to begin around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening, the Baltimore Orioles and Miami Marlins will face off in a three-game series. Matt Harvey will be on the mound for the Orioles, while the Marlins will put Nick Neidert on the mound.
DraftKings Sportsbook has the run total set at 8.5. Harvey has a record of 0-1 with an ERA of 5.02 through three starts. The veteran pitcher has given up a home run in back-to-back outings, along with six combined earned runs, and 10 hits. Right-handed hitters have not struggled this season against Harvey, slashing .333/.371/.515 with a home run and three RBI. Marlins second baseman Jazz Chisholm is a player to watch as he’s in the midst of a seven-game hitting streak. Over that time, the young infielder has scored at least 10 fantasy points or more in four games.
Cardinals vs. Nationals, 7:05 p.m. ET
Nolan Arenado ($5000)
Tommy Edman ($4900)
Yadier Molina ($4100)
Paul DeJong ($3700)
Dylan Carlson ($3100)
After slapping around the Washington Nationals for 12 runs on Monday night, the St. Louis Cardinals get to face Nats starter Patrick Corbin on Tuesday night. The veteran pitcher has struggled to start the season, which is great news for a St. Louis’ offense that is producing 4.6 runs per game.
DraftKings Sportsbook has the run total currently set at 9.5 runs. Corbin has a record of 0-2 with a skyrocketing ERA of 21.32. With this particular DFS stack, you could flex out Edman for first baseman Paul Goldschmidt, who is priced at $5,000. Nevertheless, you still have $29,200 left in salary to fill out the rest of your lineup.
Rays vs. Royals, 8:10 p.m. ET
Whit Merrifield ($5400)
Salvador Perez ($5100)
Carlos Santana ($4300)
Jorge Soler ($3300)
Nicky Lopez ($3000)
Outside of Merrifield and Perez, there’s a ton of boom or bust potential with this Kansas City Royals lineup. Kansas City could only muster one run on Monday, but should fare better on Tuesday night against Rich Hill. Through three starts, Hill has a record of 1-0, but a high ERA of 7.53.
The 41-year-old starting pitcher has allowed a home run in each of his starts (four in total). Coincidentally, all four home runs have come against right-handed batters, who are slashing .318/.319./.659. That being said, first baseman Carlos Santana should be in line for another productive outing. The veteran switch-hitter has recorded at least two hits in three-straight games. Meanwhile, outfielder Jorge Soler could finally break home run slump as he hasn’t hit one since Opening Day.
