We go over the opening odds for this Sunday’s GEICO 500 at the Talladega Superspeedway.

NASCAR Price Check – GEICO 500 - Fantasy Salary Review

The NASCAR Cup Series will return to Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, April 25th for the GEICO 500, and the opening odds are out. The race is set to get started at 2 p.m. ET from Lincoln, Alabama and can be seen on FOX. Denny Hamlin won the last Cup Series event at this race track — the YellaWood 500 in October 2020 — and he is listed as the favorite at +650 odds.

Hamlin finished as the runner up during Sunday’s Toyota Owners 400 in Richmond, Virginia, as Alex Bowman finished first. Hamlin has yet to come away with a victory so far during the 2021 season. Before Hamlin’s win at Talladega last season, Ryan Blaney had won two in a row, claiming the 2020 GEICO 500 and the 2019 YellaWood 500. He opened up at +1000 odds, which is tied for the third best chance according to the oddsmakers at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Here are the odds for all the drivers competing.
