The Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres will play game two of their three-game series at 8:40 p.m. ET. The Dodgers escaped with a 11-6 win over the Padres in extra innings on Friday night.

Clayton Kershaw will be on the mound for the Dodgers, while the Padres will be starting Yu Darvish. We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbookcentered around the game here.

Dodgers vs. Padres, 8:40 p.m. ET

Moneyline pick: Padres +104

The run line for Saturday night’s game is set at -1.5, with the Dodgers an underdog on the road for said run line (+145). However, they are favored on the moneyline at -120. In Friday night’s game there was a playoff-like atmosphere and the Padres survived a short outing from starter Ryan Weathers while Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a home run in his return to the diamond.

But it wasn't enough as the Dodgers scored five unanswered runs in the 12th inning. Los Angeles will be putting their seven-game winning streak on the line Saturday. Darvish has a record of 1-0 and an ERA of 3.06 through three starts this season. In his lone start against the Dodgers, the veteran pitcher only allowed two hits, one earned run, a walk, and struck out 10 in 7.0 IP. Kershaw has been impressive against the Padres over his career with a 21-7 record and 2.03 ERA. We should be in store for another pitchers duel in San Diego, but somehow the Padres squeak out a win.

Player Prop: Yu Darvish over 7.5 strikeouts (+110)

The Padres will be hoping for a better performance from starting pitcher Yu Darvish on Saturday night after Ryan Weathers short outing Friday. Darvish will have the tall task of trying to slowdown this Dodgers’ offense that is averaging six runs during their seven-game winning streak.

This season, Darvish has yet to go over 7.5 strikeouts, but has put up six, seven, and six strikeout performances in his first three starts. There’s value on the over, so why not sprinkle some coin on veteran pitcher to see what he can do.
