Pick against the spread, best player prop for Clippers vs. Pacers on Tuesday

We go over some of the best betting options for Tuesday’s matchup between the LA Clippers and Indiana Pacers.

NBA: Los Angeles Lakers at Los Angeles Clippers Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Clippers will go for their sixth consecutive victory when they head on the road to take on the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday, April 13th. The Clippers will enter with a 37-18 record for third place in the Western Conference, 3.5 games behind the Utah Jazz for the top spot. Indiana played well as of late as they won three in a row to improve to 25-27 for the ninth best record in the East.

Kawhi Leonard missed Sunday’s game with a foot injury and is expected to miss Tuesday’s game. Patrick Beverley been out since last Thursday’s game and is out indefinitely with a hand injury. Indiana center Myles Turner missed each of the last three games, and he will be out again with an ankle injury.

Clippers vs. Pacers, 7:30 p.m. ET, TNT

Pick ATS: Pacers +2.5

The Clippers’ recent run has been impressive, but we’re going with the Pacers to cover this spread as home underdogs. Both teams had Monday off, and Indiana returns to their home court for the first time in nearly a week. Meanwhile, Los Angeles is set to play three games in four days away from home, and they will start the road trip without their best player. They didn’t need in Sunday’s win over the Detroit Pistons, the worst team in the East, but his absence will be a factor on Tuesday night.

Player Prop: Marcus Morris Sr. U2.5 3-pointers (-180)

You’ll need to pay a bit of a price for this one at -180, but there are a few factors that go why Marcus Morris Sr. will connect on fewer than three 3-pointers on Tuesday night. He was hot from beyond the arc in the last game, connecting on 6 of 8 shots from deep, but in the three games prior to that, he shot a combined 4-for-14. Now he is going up a Pacers team that allows the fewest 3-pointers attempted per game. Take the under on his total number of threes on Tuesday night.
