The Philadelphia 76ers will look to remain at least tied for the top spot in the Eastern Conference when they head on the road to take on the Dallas Mavericks on Monday, April 12th in the first of an ESPN doubleheader. Philadelphia is all locked up with the Brooklyn Nets for the best record in the East at 36-17. Meanwhile, Dallas will enter with a 29-23 record for seventh place in the West.
For the 76ers, Danny Green and Tobias Harris missed Saturday’s loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, but neither are on the injury report for Monday night. For Dallas, Willie Cauley-Stein returned from the COVID-19 protocols, and it remains to be seen if Maxi Kleber will return to the floor after missing Sunday’s loss to the San Antonio Spurs.
Philadelphia 76ers vs. Dallas Mavericks, 7:00 p.m. ET, ESPN
Pick ATS: 76ers -3.5
This does not appear to be the greatest spot for the 76ers playing their fourth consecutive road game with a matchup against the Nets coming Wednesday, but the day of rest for Harris and Green should have this team energized enough to cover this spread. Dallas is playing a back-to-back after a close loss on Sunday in what will be their third straight home game. Look for the 76ers to close out their road trip with a victory and cover the number.
