WrestleMania 37 is here people and the fine folks at WWE are giving us a two-night spectacle this weekend taking place from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL.
DraftKings Nation has assembled a panel, most of whom will be in attendance for The Showcase of The Immortals, to give their predictions for how this extravaganza will go down.
All four of the primary men’s and women’s championship matchups are intriguing cornerstones to the two-night event. On Night 1, former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will look to reclaim his belt when fighting current champ Bobby Lashley. With this show being the first in front of a live crowd in over a year, the WWE wants to open the weekend with something that will jolt the fans out of their seats and there’s a good chance that this match will be put into that slot for that very purpose.
Also on Night 1, Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair will battle each other in what most likely will be the main event for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. On Night 2, Raw Women’s Champion Asuka will put her title on the line when facing newcomer Rhea Ripley, who recently debuted on the Monday Night Raw brand last month.
Main eventing Night 2 will be the triple-threat match for the WWE Universal Championship when champ Roman Reigns defends against both Royal Rumble winner Edge and Daniel Bryan at the same time. The trio of veterans have traded barbs on the mic and attacks for several weeks on Friday Night Smackdown and will look to best each other to close the two-night spectacle.
International pop sensation Bad Bunny will step into the ring during Night 1 when teaming with rising superstar Damian Priest to face The Miz and John Morrison in a tag team match. Bad Bunny has consistently appeared on WWE television since January and has reportedly been renting a house in Orlando specifically to train at the nearby WWE Performance Center for this match.
Speaking of celebrity, YouTube star Logan Paul will be on hand on Night 2 when longstanding best friends/enemies Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens duke it out at WrestleMania. Given Owens’ penchant for jumping off things (potentially the Raymond James Stadium pirate ship) and attacking celebrities, the potential for something crazy to happen in this one is high.
