No. 6 Alabama and No. 8 Arkansas are the only ranked teams remaining in the SEC, but there are plenty of other quality programs gearing up for the conference tournament's start on Wednesday. Several teams will be looking to secure an automatic NCAA Tournament bid this week. We’ll go over the schools with the best shot at winning out in the SEC Tournament starting this week in Nashville.
Alabama (+220) boasts the best in-conference record (16-2) and is the odds-on favorite. The Crimson Tide have won three straight games and last lost to Arkansas (+220). The Razorbacks have the second-best odds and have rattled off eight straight victories since they lost to No. 12 Oklahoma State in January. No team has more momentum than Arkansas ahead of the tournament, but LSU (+500), Tennessee (+525), and Florida (+575) will look to give the top two teams a run for their money.
Kentucky has been as high as +3000 to win this event, but some late money has moved them down to +1500. UK is just 9-15 this season, as 2020-21 was one of the most disappointing years for the program when they haven’t been on NCAA probation ever.
