The 2021 ACC Tournament is set to begin on Wednesday. While the ACC is usually home to some of the best college basketball programs in the country, its quality has dropped drastically this year. Mainstays in the NCAA Tournament like UNC, Duke, and Syracuse are in danger of missing the big dance, but the ACC tournament could give the teams in danger of being left out a shot at the big show.
No. 16 Virginia (+225) is the odds-on favorite despite having lost three of its final five regular-season games. The Cavaliers held on to secure a regular-season title after unexpectedly sliding down the stretch and has a narrow edge over the team with the second-best odds, No. 15 Florida State (+260) is right behind Virginia. The Seminoles might be the ACC team with the best shot at winning the national championship, and beat the Cavaliers by 21 the one time they faced them during the regular season. North Carolina (+425), No. 2 Virginia Tech (+600), and Lousiville (+700) round out the top five.
Here’s a list with the odds of every team in the field.
