The NCAA men’s basketball tournament is past the halfway point and we will soon have the final four teams competing in the 2021 Final Four. The Elite Eight features a mix of favorites and upstarts competing for the Final Four berths. The first two spots in the national semifinals will be decided on Monday evening and the second two spots will be finalized on Tuesday evening.

Below is each team that makes the Final Four. We have each Elite Eight matchup listed as well until they are played.

Final Four teams

Houston: No. 2 seed Midwest Region

The Coogs got past the Oregon State Beavers 67-61 to get through to the Final Four. They were the first team not from the Pac-12 to beat a Pac-12 team in this tournament. Houston defeated Cleveland State (87-56), Rutgers (63-60), Syracuse (62-46), and Oregon State (67-61) to reach their first Final Four in 37 years.

Baylor: No. 1 seed South Region

The best backcourt in college basketball gets to the Final Four, as Baylor reaches the national semifinals for the first time since 1950. MaCio Teague, Jared Butler, and Davion Mitchell combine to make shots as well as anyone in the country: BU shoots 41.1% from three-point range to lead all of Division I.

No. 1 Gonzaga: No. 1 seed West Region

The Zags have simply dominated college basketball this season, with a 30-0 record of mostly blowouts. The No. 1 offense in America starts so much of what they do on the defensive end however, shutting teams down with a man-to-man style that forces opponents out of their comfort zone. They’ve averaged a margin of victory of 24 points per game.

UCLA: No. 11 seed East Region

It has been an unforgettable run for Bruins, who lost their last four games in the regular season that forced them into a First Four against Michigan State that went to overtime. But they become only the second team to get to the Final Four via the play-in game, joining the 2011 VCU Rams. Behind star Johnny Juzang, who has been outstanding in the NCAA Tournament, they’ll still be a very big underdog to the Gonzaga Bulldogs.
