The Miami Heat and New York Knicks renew their rivalry, which hasn’t really held much prominence since the ‘90s and briefly with Carmelo Anthony vs. LeBron James. This time around, the Knicks come in at 24-22 and in the 4-seed in the East while the Heat have dropped to the 8-seed at 22-24, having lost six straight games. Miami made a big play at the deadline to add Victor Oladipo. He has yet to debut for his new team. Let’s take a look at the lines for tonight.
Heat vs. Knicks, 7:30 p.m. ET
Pick ATS: Knicks +4
The Heat have already ruled out Dipo (cold) and Kendrick Nunn (ankle) for this game. Nemanja Bjelica has joined the team but we don’t know if he’ll be cleared to play and how much time he’ll get. If those three are missing, it should give the Knicks an advantage playing at home, where they are 14-8 this season. The Knicks have won three in a row and generally don’t lose games by a wide margin, especially at home against a weaker opponent. Julius Randle (thigh) is questionable. If he’s ruled out, we can change our thinking here. Right now, the Knicks getting points if big time value.
Player Prop: TBD
