The NCAA women’s basketball tournament wraps up the Sweet 16 on Sunday, and the betting public is backing the chalk in a big way at DraftKings Sportsbook.
We get three double digit favorites on Sunday, including South Carolina, Stanford, and Maryland. In point spread betting, Stanford has the narrowest betting splits of the three, with 68 percent of handle and 74 percent on the Cardinal to cover.
On the more extreme end, the public thinks Maryland continues a run that is on a record scoring pace. The Terps have a two-game pace that is one point off of UConn’s 2000 record of 547 total tourney points. It’s no surprise that Maryland is getting 91 percent of point spread handle and 83 percent of bets against Texas.
The most interesting betting action for Sunday’s action is between No. 2 Louisville and No. 6 Oregon. A slight majority of moneyline bettors are backing the Cardinals, with 51 percent of handle and 56 percent of bets on the Cardinals as +102 underdogs. However, point spread bettors think that if the Ducks win, they’ll cover. 78 percent of handle and 60 percent of bets on the point spread are in favor of the 1.5-point favorite Ducks.
Here’s a complete list of splits for Sunday across point spread, point total, and moneyline odds.
