The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles are sizeable underdogs heading into their matchup with the Arkansas Razorbacks, but that hasn’t stopped the 15th seed from earning upset victories in each of the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament.

Before you place you wagers, check out this odds history article on each team to give you a better idea of how Oral Roberts and Arkansas have done according to oddsmakers’ projections throughout the season.

Here are the odds and bet splits for No. 15 Oral Roberts vs. No. 3 Arkansas in the Sweet 16 of the 2021 NCAA Tournament from DraftKings Sportsbook:

Against The Spread

Oral Roberts: +11.5 (65% of handle, 74% of bets)
Arkansas: -11.5 (35% of handle, 26% of bets)

Is the public right?

No, this is a case of the Cinderella story getting too much love against a very good Arkansas team that maybe hasn’t gotten the shine due to limited success in the NCAA Tournament in recent years. The Razorbacks are 113 spots ahead of Oral Roberts in KenPom, and with a high number of possessions, Arkansas should control this game and win by double digits.

Moneyline

Oral Roberts: +410 (59% of handle, 57% of bets)
Arkansas: -625 (41% of handle, 43% of bets)

Is the public right?

It’s pretty fascinating to see Oral Roberts getting the majority of moneyline bets, but those bettors are tossing their money away because Arkansas is going to win this game with ease. The Razorbacks haven’t played their best in the NCAA Tournament yet, and Oral Roberts played out of their minds twice. It was a nice fun, but it ends in the Sweet 16.

Point Total

Over: 159 (38% of handle, 29% of bets)
Under: 159.0 (62% of handle, 71% of bets)

Is the public right?

Looks like I’m going against the public in all three because the over is a better play here despite the high number. Both teams play at a very fast pace compared to the rest of the country, and it will likely finish as the highest scoring Sweet 16 game this weekend. Arkansas averages 82 points per game, which is seventh in the country, while Oral Roberts ranks No. 12 offensively with 81.5 points per game. Take the over.
