The regional semifinals of the 2021 NCAA Tournament are here, but if you call it the regional semifinal round you’re likely an NCAA employee or a cop. So we’ll go with Sweet 16, and get ready for what should be eight great games.

We break down a few of them and provide all the bet splits from DraftKings Sportsbook below:

Oregon State vs. Loyola Chicago

The No. 12 Oregon State Beavers and No. 8 Loyola Chicago Ramblers combine for the largest total seed number of any of the games with 20. The most interesting line here might be the over-under of 125 points, as Loyola is the best team in America in adjusted defensive efficiency by KenPom. The Beavers have averaged 75.6 points per game during their five-game win streak, but both teams have some of the slowest pace in all of college basketball.

Right now 94% of the handle and 86% of the bets are on the over, with bettors thinking we’ll see some points in this one.

No. 5 Villanova vs. No. 1 Baylor

The Cats had a relatively easy path here, getting past a feisty-but-incapable Winthrop team 73-63, then boatracing a North Texas team 84-61 that was very happy to be in Round 2. In the two games against quality opponents without Collin Gillespie, they’ve struggled in capping the Big East season against Providence and Georgetown.

And the bettors agree. Starting Chris Arcidiacono against Baylor’s backcourt of MaCio Teague, Jared Butler, and Davion Mitchell seems like a huge mismatch. We’ll see where it goes, but right now the Bears as a 6.5 point favorite are getting 87% of the handle and 77% of the bets.

No. 11 UCLA vs. No. 2 Alabama

The Bruins are the only team that had to win three games in this tournament to get here, getting past Michigan State in the First Four before knocking off BYU and Abilene Christian to reach the Sweet 16.

After losing four straight to end the Pac-12 season, they’ve looked like one of the best teams in the country behind the outstanding play of Johnny Juzang. But the Crimson Tides ranks as the third-best adjusted defense in the country, and UCLA hasn’t seen a true lockdown team in the Pac-12 this season.

Herbert Jones, Jahvon Quinerly, and Jaden Shackelford can all score and stop people, and the depth of Bama’s offense can be a problem. The Tide are a six-point favorite, but getting 77% of the handle and 79% of the bets as of now.

Here are the betting splits as of Tuesday in the 2021 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 from DraftKings Sportsbook:
