After spending all of his career with the Houston Texans, speedy wide receiver Will Fuller will be taking his talents to South Beach. The Miami Dolphins reportedly signed Fuller to a one-year deal for $10.6 million guaranteed, with an extra $3 million in incentives.
WR Will Fuller signing: Fantasy football impact
Fuller has been one of the more dynamic deep threat wide receivers in the league, outside of DeSean Jackson, when healthy. Him and quarterback Deshaun Watson were a must start and stack in fantasy football on a weekly basis. Last season, Fuller was on to pace to having his best statistical before being hit with a six-game suspension.
In only 11 games played, Fuller recorded 53 receptions (75 targets) for 879 yards and eight touchdowns. Fuller also had a six-game streak, where he recorded at least one touchdown or more. When it comes to fantasy football, the 6-foot wide receiver had seven double-digit performances.
Nevertheless, we shouldn’t expect Fuller to have this same type of production next season in Miami. But after he misses Week 1, Fuller will be joining a Dolphins’ offense with a young quarterback in Tua Tagovailoa. And a wide receiver core that features DeVante Parker and Preston Williams to go along with tight end Mike Gesecki. Fuller will become Miami’s best wide receiver and should be considered in the mid-round of your fantasy football drafts.
