Report: Kenny Golladay to sign four-year contract with Giants

The Giants add a huge playmaker for Daniel Jones. If Kenny Golladay can stay healthy, this is a big move.

The New York Giants are making a huge splash in free agency as they try and figure out if Daniel Jones is the answer at quarterback. The team is signing wide receiver Kenny Golladay to a four-year deal worth up to $72 million, per Josina Anderson. Adam Schefter is reporting the deal includes $40 million guarantees.

Golladay can be a dominant receiver, but is coming off an injury-plagued 2020. He played in five games and finished with 20 catches for 338 yards and two touchdowns. The two years prior he surpassed 1,000 yards both seasons, and in 2019 he found the end zone 11 times.

He joins a Giants roster that was led in receiving by Darius Slayton (50 receptions, 751 yards, three touchdowns) and Sterling Shepard (66 receptions, 656 yards, three touchdowns in 12 games). It’s unclear if Daniel Jones is the answer at quarterback, but adding Golladay to go along with recently signed John Ross will give the young QB some serious fire power — particularly with the return of Saquon Barkley.
