Saturday’s main NBA slate will be a small one. Six games are set to tip-off on the first day of the weekend, but only four matchups will be featured in the main slate. That means it could be much harder to finds variance than usual.
That being said, it is a great time to give you some value plays for your DFS contest. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays under $5K that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. It does not matter if you are playing a 50/50 or Double Up contest, we are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Ivica Zubac, Los Angeles Clippers, $5,100
Zubac is right on the bubble, but I can’t leave him out. The young big man has flourished since Serge Ibaka was sidelined by a back injury and tallied 32.75 DKFP in each of his last two games. He got the best of the Dallas Mavericks and could keep his momentum going against the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday. Charlotte has allowed at least a double-double to the opposition’s starting center in two of its last three games.
Marcus Morris Sr., Los Angeles Clippers, $4,800
Morris has logged more than 30 minutes in each of his last two games and averaged more than 28 DKFP per game during the Clippers’ two-game series against Dallas. The swingman has a very desirable matchup ahead of him, as the Charlotte Hornets’ defense ranks 30th against small forwards. He shouldn’t be outmatched by PJ Washington at power forward, and his green light on offense should yield solid production if he converts his chances. He’s attempted at least 11 shots in each of his last two outings.
Devonte’ Graham, Charlotte Hornets, $4,500
Graham is looking to bump Malik Monk down a spot in the rotation. He’s tallied more than 20 DKFP in four of the five games he’s appeared in since the All-Star break. While his starting spot has been forked over to LaMelo Ball, his playmaking off the bench will be valuable against a Clippers team with limited point guard depth.
