In the only game on ESPN Sunday night, the Los Angeles Clippers will head down to the Big Easy to take on the New Orleans Pelicans at 9 p.m. ET. The last time these two teams played each other on Jan. 14, the Clippers won 111-106.

The Clippers snapped their three-game losing streak after defeating the Golden State Warriors 130-104 on Thursday night. It was their first win since Feb. 26 as they are 4-6 in their last 10 games.

The Pelicans also snapped a three-game losing streak themselves with a dominating 116-82 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday. It was New Orleans’ second game after the All-star break as they lost 135-105 to the Minnesota Timberwolves the previous night. The Pels also have a record of 4-6 in their last 10 contests.

Can Kawhi Leonard and Paul George outplay Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson? We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbook centered around the game here.

Clippers vs. Pelicans, 9:00 p.m. ET, ESPN

Pick ATS: Clippers -6

The line for Sunday night’s game is currently set at six points, with the Clippers being favored on the road. Los Angeles only has one player on the injury report and that is Patrick Beverley, who is out with a knee injury. The Clippers will lean on the duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, which has been as advertised this season.

Leonard is averaging 26.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, while George is contributing 23.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game. However, in the Clippers’ last 10 games, George has struggled, only averaging 17 points, 4.8 rebounds and shooting 36.6 percent from the field. This season, the Clippers are 11-9 against the spread away from the Staples Center. But they are only 2-4 ATS in their last six games and 1-4 against the spread in their last five versus teams from the Southwest Division.

As for the Pelicans, the lone player on the injury report is JJ Redick, who is out with a heel injury. New Orleans has two young stars in Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram, who plays integral roles in their success. Williamson is averaging 25.5 points per game and 19.2 points per game inside the paint. The Pelicans rank fifth in the NBA in points in the paint (53.2).

Unlike the Clippers, who have been good bets ATS away from Staples, the Pelicans have not been great at home. This season, they have a record of 9-12 against the spread at Smoothie King Arena. Additionally, New Orleans is 5-10 ATS in their last 15 games and 1-4 ATS in their last five contests against other teams in the west.

Player Prop: Brandon Ingram O5.5 rebounds (+122)

This player prop is a tad bit juiced for Brandon Ingram, but it’s worth sprinkling some cash on it. This season, the young forward is averaging 5.1 rebounds per game for the Pelicans, who are one of the best rebounding teams in the league. The former Duke standout has gone over 5.5 rebounds in only 14 out of 38 games played. But when these teams last played in January, Ingram record six rebounds.

Ingram should be able to find some success on the boards as the Clippers are giving up 53.7 rebounds per game to opponents in their last three.
