Pick against the spread, best player prop for Jazz vs. Warriors on Sunday

The Golden State Warriors host the Utah Jazz this afternoon with Selection Sunday looming. We’ll have plenty of March Madness content coming through, but don’t forget about the NBA slate! Luckily, Jazz-Dubs is early on so you’ll have some time before brackets drop. You may have even more time if the Warriors look like they did a few days ago against the Los Angeles Clippers. Let’s take a look at some picks for Sunday afternoon’s contest.

Pick ATS: Jazz -7

I would expect a bit of a response from the Dubs after a 26-point loss to the Clippers on Friday. Even so, is that enough to not lose by 10 points to the best team in the West? I’m not so sure. The Warriors have a lot of issues when Stephen Curry and Draymond Green aren’t at the top of their game. My guess is Steph bounces back and the team will be motivated for this contest. Still, it’s hard to see the Jazz not pulling away at some point. Steph was on his game the last time these two teams met and Utah still won by 19.

Player Prop: Rudy Gobert U14.5 Rebounds (-121)

The line on Gobert’s rebounding total is very high. Gobert averages around 13 rebounds per game, so there’s already built in value there. Even the last time he faced the Dubs he went under this total at 14. Gobert has gone under this total in seven of the past eight games. The line will likely go up throughout the day or they’ll take a rebound or two off the top. This prop feels pretty airtight.
