The ACC Tournament began its first-round action on Tuesday with three games, and matchups will continue on Wednesday with a four-game slate. Day two will begin with a matchup between Syracuse and NC State and end with UNC taking on Notre Dame.

We’ve got everything you need to know for today’s action from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.

No. 8 Syracuse vs. No. 9 NC State: 12 p.m., ACC Network

Point Spread: Syracuse -2
Point Total: 146.5

The Orange might be one of the last teams left out of the NCAA Tournament field if they don’t win the ACC tournament, and a loss here likely ends any chance at the bubble for either team. Syracuse swept NC State in the regular season, and has won more home games (13) than any team in the ACC. I expect the tournament mainstays to raise their level of play and take down the Wolfpack to extend their winning streak to three games.

The pick: Syracuse -2

No. 5 Clemson vs. Miami (FL): 2:30 p.m., ACC Network

Point Spread: Clemson -9
Point Total: 126.5

Clemson should be well-rested from its first-night bye, but Miami won’t roll over after their 79-73 win yesterday to end Pitt’s season. While the Tigers swept the Hurricanes during the regular season, they failed to cover the spread in both matchups. Clemson’s average margin of victory against Miami is 3.5 points this year. The favorite should win, but I’m not confident about its odds against the spread.

The pick: Miami +9

No. 7 Louisville vs. Duke: 6:30 p.m., ACC Network

Point Spread: Duke -2
Point Total: 140.5

The Duke Blue Devils played on opening day and got a win, snapping a three-game losing streak by blowing out Boston College 86-51 on Tuesday, but will face much stiffer competition in the second round. Louisville swept the Blue Devils during the regular season by winning two close games, and didn’t lose a home game to an unranked team all year. Duke’s 3-6 road record doesn’t bode well for its tournament success. The Cardinals seem like the better option.

The pick: Louisville +2

No. 6 North Carolina vs. Notre Dame: 9 p.m., ACC Network

Point Spread: North Carolina -6
Point Total: 148.5

Notre Dame was pushed to the edge by Wake Forest in the first round on Tuesday, but Trey Wertz hit this perfect buzzer beater to advance. However the outlook for the second round isn’t good. The Fighting Irish only fell to the Tar Heels by a point in January. Facing a rested North Carolina on the second night of a back-to-back should prove to be even more challenging.

The pick: North Carolina -6
