Full starting grid for the Call 811 Before You Dig 200 Xfinity race at Phoenix

NASCAR’s Xfinity Series is back in action this Saturday, March 13th, for the Call 811 Before You Dig 200. The race gets underway at 5:30 p.m. ET on FS1, live from the Phoenix Raceway.

Daniel Hemric and Brandon Jones will star on the front row at Phoenix. Hemric will be the pole-sitter. He and Jones are second and third in the point standings, respectively, but neither driver has secured a victory this season. Jones might have an edge as last year’s Call 811 Before You Dig 200 winner, though. Points leader and 2020 Xfinity Cup Series champ Austin Cindric will start in third on the grid and is one of three drivers with a win this season. A.J. Allmendinger, Justi Haley, and Jeb Burton round out the first three rows on the grid.

There were no qualifying runs for this weekend’s race, as the starting lineups for Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series races will be determined through a performance-metrics formula for all but eight weekends this season to decrease the chances of a COVID-19 outbreak. The performance metric to determine placement is split like this: 25 percent of the metric comes from a driver’s finishing position from the previous race, 25 percent comes from the car owner’s finishing position from the previous race, 35 percent comes from the team owner’s points ranking, and 15 percent comes from the fastest lap from the previous race.
