Odds to win the Atlantic 10 Tournament

The field is set for the event that will take place over 11 days in three different venues to determine the winner of what might be a NCAA Tournament multi-bid league.

The Atlantic 10 Tournament field is set, and the No. 1 seed St. Bonaventure Bonnies are only No. 3 in the minds of bettors entering the event, to be split between the campuses of Richmond, Virginia Commonwealth, and Dayton.

VCU is the favorite at +225 despite being the No. 2 seed in the event. The Rams have won seven of their last nine, and have the 14th-best adjusted defensive unit in the country according to KenPom.com. They’re just 2-4 in Quad 1 games for NCAA Tournament selection this year, and split their season series with St. Bonaventure.

The Billikens of Saint Louis are No. 2 via the odds, and No. 4 per the seeds. SLU was just 3-3 between Quad 1 and Quad 2 this season, with a record of 13-5, 6-4 in the A-10. They might need to win this event to have any chance at Selection Sunday, but it’s possible considering their efficient offense, and having senior guard Jordan Goodwin, one of the best players in the league and a contender for Atlantic 10 Player of The Year.
