One of the bigger MMA pay-per-view cards of the year will be this Saturday night in Las Vegas, as UFC 259 features three championship fights on the main card.

In the five-round main event, light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz takes on middleweight champion Israel Adesanya at 205 lbs., meaning the bout is for Blachowicz’s belt.

At 38-years-old from Poland, Blachowicz will look to keep the undefeated 20-0 Adesanya from becoming another UFC double champ. The Last Stylebender has never fought at the higher weight, but having defeated all potential challengers at 185 lbs. it makes sense he’d want a new challenge. Amongst hardcore fans of the sport, this should be one of the most anticipated fights in MMA history.

In the co-main event, another double champ in Amanda Nunes is a massive favorite against Megan Anderson for her featherweight strap. Nunes is unquestionably the best female combatant in the history of the sport, and she goes to her lighter weight for this bout, with the bantamweight belt still hers if somehow she loses.

And in the other co-main event, it will be five rounds as well for the men’s bantamweight championship as 15-1 Petr Yan faces 19-3 Aljamain Sterling. Yan won the interim belt from Jose Aldo in July, while Sterling has won five in a row since 2018 to earn his shot at the title.
