Breaking down the Patriot League Conference basketball tournament schedule

The Patriot League Conference Championship stretches from March 3rd to March 14th, with games on team’s home floors on four different dates. The tournament will include 10 teams, who will play single-elimination games with no reseeding. The better-seeded team will be the host for each game.

The Navy Midshipmen enter as the No. 1 seed, with a 15-2 record overall and a 12-1 mark in the Patriot League. They sit at No. 142 in the KenPom rankings, and 84 in the NET from the NCAA. The Colgate Raiders are behind them in the standings with an 11-1 record in the league thanks to an early loss to Army. Colgate played only three teams this season, each of them four times, but sit at No. 92 in KenPom and an incredible No. 9 in the NET.

March 10th Semifinals

Game 8: No. 2 Colgate 105-75 over No. 6 Bucknell

March 14th Final

Game 9: No. 2 Colgate 85-72 over No. 9 Loyola Maryland

The Raiders head back to the NCAA Tournament for the second straight time. They are 0-3 lifetime in the event, with two appearances as a No. 16 seed and one as a No. 15. But they also have two losses that are in single-digits.
