The Great American Race is set to return as the Daytona 500 will get the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season underway. The race is scheduled for Sunday, February 14th at 2:30 p.m. ET and will air on FOX.
As we look forward to the sport’s flagship event, DraftKings Sportsbook has posted odds for which driver will win this year’s race. It features not only the champion at the Daytona 500 but offers odds on how likely it is each driver will finish within the top three or top 10.
At the top of the odds list is Denny Hamlin at +700 odds to win the race, followed by Chase Elliott at +900. To round out the top five, there is a three-way tie for the No. 3 slot with Ryan Blaney, Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano, all of whom are getting +1100 odds to win the Daytona 500.
As the betting favorite this year, Hamlin has won the Daytona 500 in each of the last two years including three of the last five. Of the drivers in the top five in the odds not including Hamlin, only Logano has won the Daytona 500 when he did it back in 2015.
Elliott will enter the 2021 season as the defending NASCAR Cup Series champion. He finished in 17th place in last year’s Daytona 500.
