The Kansas Jayhawks are coming off yet another loss, and will take on the improving Oklahoma State Cowboys fresh off their biggest win of the year.
Kansas (12-7, 6-5 Big 12) is sixth in the conference standings and hasn’t been able to string together consistent wins in the Big 12 season. The Jayhawks are coming off a 91-79 road loss to the West Virginia Mountaineers on Saturday. All five starters scored in double digits, but it wasn’t enough to find a win. Reserve guard Tyon Grant-Foster missed the last game with an ankle injury, and it remains to be seen if he will be back in the rotation for Kansas.
Oklahoma State (12-5, 5-5 Big 12) will enter the seventh best record in the conference heading into this game. The Cowboys beat the Texas Longhorns in a thrilling 75-67 home win in double overtime on Saturday. Sophomore forward Kalib Boone had a career game with 22 points with 15 rebounds, both of which were career highs. The Cowboys locked down defensively and did not allow Texas to make a field goal in either of the overtime sessions.

The Best Bet
While Kansas has struggled to maintain the standards of Jayhawks basketball, that hasn’t necessarily been the case when they’ve been playing at home. Kansas has struggled on the road with a 2-5 record, but the Jayhawks are 8-1 this year at home. Oklahoma State has done well on the road this season, but Kansas should be fired up to get back on the winning track after Saturday’s loss.
Pick: Kansas -5.5
