The Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers kick off Super Bowl LV at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, and 90 minutes before the game the two teams announced their list of inactives. Both teams are getting healthier on offense as we head into this matchup. You can check out the rest of the inactives below.
Chiefs inactives
QB Matt Moore
RB Darwin Thompson
TE Ricky Seals-Jones
DT Khalen Saunders
DE Tim Ward
CB BoPete Keyes
CB Chris Lammons
The impact
The Chiefs lost left tackle Eric Fisher to an Achilles tear in the AFC Championship and then linebacker William Gay tore his meniscus in practice, so they were put on injured reserve and aren’t listed here. But they are the most notable absences for this game, as the others are healthy scratches.
Sammy Watkins is active after being listed as questionable. That’s a good thing for the Chiefs offense, as Watkins has played well in big games with Kansas City. Le’Veon Bell is active and healthy, but is likely the No. 3 back tonight.
Bucs inactives
TE Antony Auclair
DL Khalil Davis
QB Ryan Griffin
DL Jeremiah Ledbetter
QB Drew Stanton
RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn
WR Justin Watson
The impact
Wide receiver Antonio Brown and tight end Cameron Brate were the only questionable Buccaneers coming into the game and both are active. The Buccaneers will also have LeSean McCoy active as their No. 3 running back. He was with the Chiefs last season in the Super Bowl, but was inactive.
