What to do with Clyde Edwards-Helaire in Super Bowl 55 for DFS and playoff fantasy leagues

We go over the fantasy football and DFS outlook of Clyde Edwards-Helaire ahead of the Chiefs Super Bowl matchup against the Bucs.

Playoff Lenny or Edwards-Helaire?

The Chiefs cruised past the Bills in the AFC Conference Championship, mostly through the air. Meanwhile, on the ground, Clyde Edwards-Helaire was essentially a non-factor from a fantasy perspective. With two weeks of rest, though, should we consider CEH for our DFS lineups for the Super Bowl?

Fantasy Football analysis: Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, $7,000

In five seasons of football, Edwards-Helaire has proven to be a champion. In 2016, his high school team won its state title. In 2019, his LSU squad won the National Championship. And now he’ll have a shot at being an NFL champion in his rookie season. But he likely won’t have a significant enough role to instill confidence in his fantasy viability. In his first game back from injury in a month’s time, CEH took six carries for seven yards. Fortunately, he squeaked in a touchdown to salvage a 7.7 DKFP performance, but with Darrel Williams hogging carries and Le’Veon Bell expected to be active for the Super Bowl, we shouldn’t expect a sizable outcome from the rookie running back.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Sit Clyde Edwards-Helaire and look for other options on either team instead.
