No. 4 Ohio State has dropped back-to-back games to No. 3 Michigan and Michigan State, but will get a chance to secure a quality win ahead of its season-finale against No. 5 Illinois on March 6. The Buckeyes are set to take on No. 9 Iowa on Sunday for the second time this year. Ohio State edged out the Hawkeyes 89-85 earlier in February, but the rematch could end differently.
Ohio State (18-6, 12-6 Big Ten) ranks third in the Big 10 and trails Michigan and Illinois. Iowa is only half a game back and could bump the Buckeyes back a spot with an upset on the road, so this is a big game for both sides. E.J. Liddell has put up his usual numbers in his last two games, but Justice Sueing has struggled as a scorer and on the boards. The front court duo will have to show up against one of the best bigs in college basketball to avoid losing three straight games.
Iowa (17-7, 11-6 Big Ten) was blown out 79-57 at Michigan in its last game. Star big man Luke Garza was held well below his season averages across the board against the Wolverines and shot just 31.6% from the field. Garza leads the nation with 24.3 points per game, but performed poorly the first time he faced the Buckeyes this season. If he doesn’t bounce back on Sunday, the Hawkeyes won’t have much of a chance.

The Best Bet
Iowa managed to keep up with Ohio State at home, but holding its own on the road is a different story, The Hawkeyes are barely above .500 when they’re away. The Buckeyes are an impressive 10-2 at home, and this spread is close enough to say that the winning team will cover the spread. The favorites should win and cover here.
Pick: Ohio State -3.5
