In a primetime matchup on Saturday night, the Dallas Mavericks will look to rebound from their loss against the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday when they play the Brooklyn Nets at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

The Mavericks are coming into this contest off of a 111-97 loss to the Sixers, snapping their two-game winning streak. Dallas has a record of 7-3 in their last 10 games and 7-8 on the road this season. Meanwhile, the Nets are one of the hottest teams in the NBA with an eight-game winning streak. Brooklyn destroyed the Orlando Magic 129-92 on Thursday night and are an impressive 8-2 in their last 10.

Mavericks vs. Nets, 8:30 p.m. ET, ABC

Pick ATS: Nets -4

The line for Saturday night’s game is currently set at four points, with Brooklyn being favored at home. The Nets will not have Kevin Durant as he’s out with a hamstring that will sideline him through the all-star break. But they could get Jeff Green back for, who is listed as questionable with a shoulder injury.

The Nets are a perfect 8-0 against the spread in their last eight games, which coincides with their current win streak. They are also 9-0 ATS in their last nine games versus a team from the west. Despite not having Durant, Brooklyn has won by an average of 12.8 points during this eight-game win streak.

As for the Mavericks, they are hoping to have center Kristaps Porzingis back for Saturday night’s game. Porzingis has not played since Feb. 14 due to a back injury. Dallas has not been a great play ATS as they are 4-12 in their last 16. In their last six games as an underdog, the Mavs have a record of 2-4. Dallas does not have the offensive firepower to keep up with Irving and Harden on the perimeter, which should make this another cover for the Nets.

Player Prop: Luka Doncic O8.5 rebounds (+108)

This player prop selection is more so based off, if the Mavericks want to win or stand a chance, they need an absolute dynamic game from Doncic. The Wonder Boy is averaging 8.4 rebounds per game this season, which is just a tad below his prop. He has gone over 8.5 rebounds in 13 out of 30 games. In the Mavericks’ last five contests, Doncic is producing 7.6 rebounds. But what might be able to give him the push over is the Nets, who are giving up 52.7 rebounds per game in their last three.
