How and what to watch for Loyola Marymount vs. No. 1 Gonzaga

The Loyola Marymount Lions will be next in line to try and upset the No. 1 ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs Saturday night at 10 p.m. ET. This is the final game of the regular season as the WCC Tourney is scheduled to begin on Mar. 4.

The Lions (12-7, 7-4 WCC) have now won four out of their last five games after defeating the Pepperdine Waves 81-74 on Thursday. A player to watch for the Lions is senior guard Eli Scott, who leads the team with 17.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. Loyola Marymount has not beat Gonzaga since 2010.

The Bulldogs (23-0, 14-0 WCC) have won 23 straight win after defeating the Santa Clara Broncos 89-75 on Thursday. Gonzaga has won 18-straight games over the Lions and have the best offense in the country. This season, they are averaging 93.2 points per game and 92.8 points in their last five contests.
