No. 17 USC sits atop the Pac-12 standings following its loss to Arizona over the weekend and is in danger of being caught by second-place UCLA. The Trojans will kick off Monday with a matchup against third-place Oregon. Can USC hold off the competition in the finals weeks of the regular season?
USC (18-4, 12-3) has the same conference record as the Bruins and will face them in its regular-season finals on March 6. Both teams will play Utah and Colorado to wrap up the postseason, but UCLA only has one game left. Beating the Ducks could be critical to the Trojans winning the conference. Star center Evan Mobley, who leads USC in points, rebounds, steals, and blocks per game, will be the center of attention. The freshman big has scored at least 20 points in three straight games.
Oregon (14-4, 9-3) has won five games in a row and hasn’t lost on the road since early January. The Ducks beat Arizona earlier in February and have depended on the scoring of Eugene Omoruyi and Chris Duarte. Both players are averaging a little over 17 points per game. The duo will have to play at a high level to compete with one of the most enticing 2021 NBA Draft prospects.

Point Spread, Totals, Odds, Trends
Point spread: USC -3.5
Point Total: 137.5
Money line: Oregon, USC
- USC is 14-8 ATS overall and 8-5 at home
- Oregon is 9-9 ATS overall and 3-2 on the road
The Best Bet
USC hasn’t beaten any top-notch teams but has won 12 games by double-digits. The Trojans are 11-2 at home. Oregon is on a winning streak but hasn’t taken down a ranked team, so I like the favorites to win and cover the spread.
Pick: USC -3.5
