In a classic of a college basketball game, the No. 3 Michigan Wolverines beat the No. 4 Ohio State 92-87 on Sunday afternoon in Columbus, Ohio in a battle of two teams seeded on the top line of the NCAA Tournament according to the NCAA Selection Committee.

Wolverines freshman center Hunter Dickinson was phenomenal, with 22 points on 8-14 shooting from the floor with nine rebounds. Michigan (16-1, 11-1 Big Ten) shot 53.4% from the floor, including 11-23 from three-point range. They averaged 1.41 points per possession, and their No. 7 adjusted offense in America will improve on that number after a brilliant performance.

Ohio State (18-5, 12-5 Big Ten) will have a strong case to stay on the No. 1 line for the NCAA Tournament even with the loss. They shot 53.3% from the floor on a top 10 defense, including 11-22 from three-point range, and scored 1.3 points per possession. Duane Washington Jr. led all scorers with 27 points, and E.J. Liddell added 23 in a losing effort for the Buckeyes.

Michigan closed as 1.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook.
