No. 4 Ohio State has won six straight games since losing to Purdue in mid-January and will take on Penn State on the road on Thursday. The two Big Ten teams are on opposite ends of the conference standings, but the Nittany Lions nearly knocked off the Buckeyes last month. Can the home team get a different result this time around?

Ohio State (17-4, 11-4) is led by sophomore forward E.J. Liddell who leads the team in points, rebounds, and blocks per game. He tallied 22 points in seven boards in the Buckeyes’ four-point win over Penn State earlier this season. The Nittany Lions benefited from some productive forward play as well in that matchup, and Liddell might have to put together another masterful performance to secure a win.

Penn State (7-10, 4-9) has put up a fight against more than one ranked team this season. They lost to No. 3 Michigan by four on the road in December, and also topped No. 21 Wisconsin last month. Myreon Jones, Izaiah Brockington, and John Harrar will need to show up to give their team a chance at another upset.

The Best Bet

Six of Penn State’s 11 conference games have been decided by five points or less, and the Nittany Lions have already taken it to the Buckeyes at the Schottenstein Center. The underdogs have only lost two games at home and have a good shot at staying competitive.

Pick: Penn State +5
