UPDATE: Feb. 19, 6:34 p.m. — Green is in the starting lineup for the Warriors after missing Wednesday night’s game against the Heat.
UPDATE: Feb. 19, 5:33 p.m. — Green is expected to play but is considered a game-time decision for Friday’s game vs. the Magic. Dray was held out with ankle soreness on Wednesday and would be a big boost if he can get back in the lineup.
UPDATE: Feb. 18, 5:33 p.m. — Green is being listed as questionable to play in Friday’s game vs. the Orlando Magic. The Warriors made Green a late scratch from the lineup on Wednesday vs. the Heat. After going down big in the first half, the Warriors mounted a comeback and were able to steal a win in OT. The Dubs started Mychal Mulder in place of Green, so if Dray is out again we should expect a similar lineup to Wednesday.
Golden State Warriors C Draymond Green was scratched from the lineup Wednesday night vs. the Miami Heat due to right ankle soreness. The Warriors will start Mychal Mulder in place of Green, so the starting 5 will be Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, Kelly Oubre Jr., Mulder and Juan Toscano-Anderson. This lineup just got even smaller. Coach Steve Kerr refuses to play Eric Paschall. In his defense, small ball has been working well lately for the Dubs.
Draymond Green is a late scratch for the Warriors tonight and will not play due to right ankle soreness. Mychal Mulder will start in his place.

So you’d think Kerr will have to play Paschall a bit. This is a big upgrade for Toscano-Anderson, who should see more minutes as one of the only bigs on the roster. Who benefits the most though? The Heat. Green has been fantastic for the Dubs, leading the team in assists per game at 8.3. So with no Green in there, this helps Miami on defense and offense. The line right now is still Heat +1.5, which feels pretty favorable. You could even get Miami on the moneyline and that feels pretty good. Bam Adebayo and Kelly Olynyk should feast on what is left of the Dubs frontcourt.
