The WBO junior middleweight title will be on the line Saturday evening in California. Patrick Teixeira will defend his belt against Brian Castano on DAZN. How to watch Patrick Teixeira vs. Brian Castano

Brian Castano will challenge Patrick Teixeira for his WBO junior middleweight title at the Avalon in California. The card gets started at 8 p.m. ET and we can expect ring walks for Teixeira and Castano sometime in the 10 p.m. hour.

Fighter history

Teixeira has an impressive 31-1 record and only lost when he fell to Curtis Stevens in a fight for the WBC Continental Americas middleweight title. One loss in 12 years is nothing to scoff at. He’s been in nearly twice as many fights as his opponent.

Castano has won 12 of his 17 fights by knockout but also has one draw under his belt. He holds the WBA light middleweight and WBO Inter-Continental light middleweight title.
