The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide will face the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 10th. These teams faced off on December 5th, with Alabama winning 41-24 to claim the SEC Championship in Atlanta.
Despite the win nearly a month ago, the Bulldogs are still favored to finally vanquish their rival and claim their first national championship since 1980. If the Crimson Tide win, they’ll have won four of the eight College Football Playoff National Championships since the system was implemented for the 2014 season. Nick Saban has won six total national championship at Alabama, and a seventh for himself in 2003 at LSU.
