Week 16 update: The Ravens activated Watkins off the COVID-19 list on Saturday of Week 16, per Doug Kyed.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Sammy Watkins has been placed on the COVID-19 list by the Baltimore Ravens. He is yet another player that won’t be playing this week due to the never-ending pandemic.
WR Sammy Watkins is being placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list and will be out tomorrow vs. the Packers.

Watkins hasn’t been putting up good fantasy numbers, but he is a receiver who can make critical catches in crunch time. The Ravens could also be without their best player, quarterback Lamar Jackson, as he is dealing with an ankle injury.
Jackson is questionable to play despite not practicing this week, but that means Tyler Huntley is the likely starter. This is a big game for the Ravens, as they just lost to the No. 2 team in the division, the Cleveland Browns, and they face a tough Packers team.
Watkins’ absence hurts, but wouldn’t be close to the loss of Jackson. Whoever ends up starting at quarterback should still have Mark Andrews, Marquise Brown, and Rashod Bateman to throw to, which isn’t that shabby.
