We’ll have full results below as they come in from Carson.

And away we go for the WBC bantamweight championship!

Round 1 10-9 Donaire

Not a ton of action in the first round, but a couple of key right hands by Donaire got him the round. Gaballo looked to be in a close guard, but still let a couple too many slip through.

Round 2 10-9 Gaballo

A very close round either way, but both fighters still feeling each other out and looking to time their shots as a couple shots landed better.

Round 3 10-9 Gaballo

A better round from Gaballo, though Donaire attempted to steal it late. Gaballo is getting power shots in with good movement following his jab.

Round 4 Donaire TKO’s Gaballo at 2:59 of the fourth round

Donaire puts Gaballo down with a perfect liver shot, the first knockdown in the career of Gaballo. And while he does get up at referee Ray Corona’s count of eight, he immediately goes back down to the canvas and that’s it!
