Thursday update: Cooper is set to play tonight against the Saints, but his conditioning after having COVID-19 isn’t where they’d like, per Ed Werder. He could see his snaps reduced.
#Cowboys WR Amari Cooper will play tonight after two-game Covid absence, but I’m told to expect the team to limit his volume of snaps. His conditioning level is not what it was two weeks ago before he came sick.

Wednesday update: Cooper is listed as questionable for Thursday Night Football. It appears likely that he’ll play, but he could be eased back in.
Wednesday update: Cooper has officially been activated from the COVID-19 list and will play on TNF against the Saints. A tough matchup with Marcus Lattimore and two weeks away from the game with COVID-19 symptoms could make for a reduced role and upside for fantasy football.
Wednesday update: Cooper will play against the Saints on Thursday Night football, per Ed Werder. This is great news for the team and Cooper’s fantasy backers. Cedrick Wilson will take a back seat with Cooper, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup all expected to play, but he is also hurting and could miss this matchup.
Tuesday, Nov 30 update: Cooper is back in the building, but still has a cough, per Michael Gehlken. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Cooper is “still not feeling the best” and it’s “to be determined” whether he’ll practice on Tuesday. McCarthy added, “My gut would be if he doesn’t practice tomorrow, I don’t see him going to the game.”
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper remained on the COVID-19 list for Monday. He already missed two games due to a positive COVID-19 test while being unvaccinated, but should be close to returning. The fact that he was able to go to the facility to meet with the medical staff is likely a good sign as well.
Amari Cooper visited Cowboys facility to check in with the team’s medical staff today but was not at practice and has not yet been activated from the team’s Reserve/COVID-19 list, per pool report.

If Cooper can play this Thursday night against the Saints, he will be joined by CeeDee Lamb, who missed Thursday’s Thanksgiving game against the Raiders due to a concussion. Lamb was extremely close to being cleared for that game and was estimated as a full go for Monday.
Getting Lamb and Cooper back will be much needed for Dak Prescott and the Cowboys offense, especially against a very good Saints defense. Dallas is 4.5-point favorites for this matchup, which likely is factoring the return of both Lamb and Cooper and now the likely return of Taysom Hill to the starting quarterback role for New Orleans.
