Vikings place Patrick Peterson on COVID-19 IR list

The Minnesota Vikings might be without a key defensive player in Week 13. The team has placed cornerback Patrick Peterson on the reserve/COVID list following Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. He played all 70 snaps in the game.

The Vikings came into Sunday’s game against the 49ers ranked 13th in overall defensive efficiency and eighth against the pass.
