Wednesday 11/17 update: Logan Thomas was working on the side on Wednesday for Week 11. The team won’t report his status on the injury report since he is still officially on I.R., but he would likely be considered a DNP for Wednesday, while fellow tight end Ricky Seals-Jones was also out on Wednesday.
Friday update: Thomas wasn’t seen at practice on Friday for Week 10, per John Keim. It looks like he’ll need at least another week before Thomas’ return. Ricky Seals-Jones will remain the starting tight end against the Buccaneers.
The Washington Football Team placed tight end Logan Thomas on injured reserve on October 6 with a hamstring injury.
The 30-year-old Thomas was one of the lone bright spots for the WFT offense as he had 12 receptions (14 targets) for 117 yards and two touchdowns. In Week 3 against the Buffalo Bills, he had four receptions (four targets) for 42 yards and a touchdown. A week later against the Atlanta Falcons, the veteran tight end suffered the hamstring injury.
