With Week 6 of the NFL season wrapping up, it is a perfect time to see which defense are available on the waiver wire in fantasy football. On Sunday, we saw a lot of great outings from defenses such as the Bengals, Vikings, and Raiders, who were not on many fantasy managers’ radar before the season. But now they might warrant a pickup off of waivers.

Cincinnati Bengals D/ST (50%)
Next up — vs. Baltimore Ravens
The Bengals are right at the 50% rostership threshold and coming off a strong week against the Detroit Lions. Cincinnati’s defense made life tough for Lions’ offense as they held them to only 11 points. The Bengals only had one sack in the game, but grabbed an interception, giving them four in their last four games. They will have a tough task ahead of them with the Ravens coming up next on the schedule.
Las Vegas Raiders D/ST (13%)
Next up — vs. Philadelphia Eagles
The Raiders’ defense has been giving up its fair share of points this season (24 points per game). However, on Sunday against the Denver Broncos, Las Vegas recorded five sacks and forced QB Teddy Bridgewater into three interceptions. It was their first game with at least one interception since Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Las Vegas’ defense currently has 16 sacks and an NFL-leading 54 quarterback hits. They will hope to force Eagles QB Jalen Hurts into some mistakes next week, who has an interception in two consecutive games.
New York Giants D/ST (2%)
Next up — vs. Carolina Panthers
The Giants’ defense has not had it easy over the last two weeks, going up against the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams’ offense. However, they should have an easier time against the Carolina Panthers and Sam Darnold next week. Darnold has been a turnover machine in his last three games, recording six interceptions. He has also been sacked 12 times over that span of time. The New York Giants’ defense is not special, but they may be able to find some lightning in the bottle against a struggling Darnold.
