Game status: The Titans released their inactives report and A.J. Brown will be active for the game.
The Tennessee Titans will get wide receiver Julio Jones back after he missed two weeks with a hamstring injury, but the team had to downgrade young star receiver A.J. Brown on Sunday due to an illness. The good news is that he is still on track to play in their Monday night tilt against the Buffalo Bills, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Brown had surgery on both knees this off season and has been dealing with a hamstring injury. The team has tried limiting the wear and tear on his body by giving him rest days and Brown himself said they will limit his snaps until Week 10, per ESPN’s Turron Davenport.
Both Brown and Jones are likely to miss snaps as the team tries to keep them healthy for the long haul. They will continue to count on Derrick Henry carrying the team on his back for the foreseeable future.
