The Tennessee Titans pulled off a thrilling victory to win their division this weekend, and they’re advancing to play in a Wild Card matchup. If you’re playing DFS or are in a playoffs fantasy football league, here’s a look at Titans wide receivers A.J. Brown and Corey Davis.
Fantasy Football analysis: Titans WRs A.J. Brown $7,000, Corey Davis, $4,800
In Week 17’s win over the Houston Texans, Brown caught 10 of 11 passes thrown to him for 151 yards with a touchdown, highlighted by a 52-yard reception on the game-winning drive. In that game, Davis also had 11 targets with just five catches for 39 yards.
Brown is the most expensive receiver among all the receivers playing on Sunday at $7,000, while Davis is 10th at the position at $4,800. The over/under for this game is the highest among all Wild Card weekend games, so oddsmakers expect there to be plenty of room for points when the Titans take on the Baltimore Ravens.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Brown was coming into Sunday’s game with a pair of performances where he failed to reach 50 yards, so I’m not sure he’s worth spending the money on as the No. 1 guy at the position, while there certainly could be value to be had with Davis especially at that price. The Titans are underdogs in this game by 3.5 points, so if you’re in a league that favors players whose teams advance further in the playoffs, it might be smart to stay away from the Tennessee wideouts.
