The Los Angeles Rams will travel in the Wild Card round to face their NFC West rival, the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field. The game will take place Saturday, Jan. 9 with kickoff at 4:40 p.m. ET.

How injuries could affect Rams vs. Seahawks matchup
Perhaps no injury has generated as much discussion as Jared Goff’s busted right thumb. The issue required surgery and held him out of the Rams’ season finale against the Arizona Cardinals. Goff returned to practice this week and has a shot to play, though some have advocated that head coach Sean McVay should start backup signal-caller John Wolford anyway. McVay hasn’t confirmed his plans under center if Goff receives the green light from the medical staff, but it seems unlikely Los Angeles would bench its $134 million man to start a former AAF quarterback.
While it will not generate as much attention, Micah Kiser’s return could matter as well. The linebacker hasn’t played since suffering a knee injury against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11, but he saw extensive work in coverage when available. Even if Kiser cannot yet handle his usual workload, he gives the Rams another option against a capable Seahawks passing attack.
